Chris has been a writer, improviser, actor, and director in the Chicagoland area for close to 10 years. He originally hails from Nashville, Tennessee, and then moved to Virginia to study acting and directing at Shenandoah Conservatory. After touring with several children’s theatre companies (Hampstead Players, Theatre IV) Chris finally landed in Chicago. In the city, Chris switched gears and took classes at both iO (formly Improv Olympic) and The Second City. After graduating both programs, he performed at both institutions, along with joining numerous sketch groups and playing at other houses around the city (The Playground, Stage 773, Annoyance). Chris also spent a year writing and performing for Bye Bye Liver: The Chicago Drinking Play. He also performs in commercials, industrials, voice overs, and even works in the motion capture industry with various video game companies (NetherRealm Studios, Warner Brothers, Turbine Games). Chris created and hosts The Nerd Outcast podcast, and co-wrote, co-directed, and performed in The Studio Web series, a comedy about a Pilates studio in the city of Chicago (which was featured at the NYC Chain Film Festival). When not creating, Chris is an avid fiddle player and enthusiastic Nintendo gamer. He is currently represented by Lily’s Talent Agency.
