Kristin is a graduate of the Second City Training Center Conservatory Program and Advanced Longform Improvisation Program. She has also studied at iO for improv and musical improv as well as performed in theaters around the Chicagoland area. She is the founder of “Improvabilities and Beyond” – where she teaches improv to both kids and adults. Kristin also teaches improv at the Northbrook Park District theater program and a local children’s theater. She has combined her over fifteen years of experience as a pediatric speech language pathologist with her improvisational knowledge using improv as a way to help people strengthen their social and communication skills.
Kristin is a wife and mother of two wonderful children, one of whom battled cancer and the other is a super sib. She knows what it is like as a parent of a sick child to be “on the other side of the fence” and hopes to provide that insight while working with an incredible team of improvisers to help put smiles on the faces of many children who need it most.
